Senator PULSFORD (New South Wales) - In spite of my ill luck with other amendments, I desire to propose that population should be one of the matters dealt with under this clause. This seems to be about the most important point with which the Statistician will have to deal, and he will have to deal with it every year, as well as on special census and enumeration days. I move -

That the following new paragraph be inserted : - " Population."
