Senator WALKER (New South Wales) - I am sorry that I must distinctly dissent from the view of my colleague, Senator Pulsford. If we cannot trust a Government to fix a day on which a census shall be taken it is not fit' to be trusted in anything. I cannot understand any one imagining that a Government would fix a day for a census merely for party purposes. I shall support the clause.

Every occupier of a dwelling. . . .shall, to the best of his knowledge and belief, fill up and supply. . . all the particulars specified. . .
