Mr CARLTON - I thank the House for that vote of confidence. I point out that the Labor Party tried to prevent debate on the education statement made by the Minister for Education. Last week it asked for extensive debate in the House on this subject and it has now taken action to prevent debate on it, thus preventing me from pointing out the Government's underlying philosophy in relation to secondary and primary education and the Government's funding program for 1981.
