Mr VINER (Stirling) (Minister for Employment and Youth Affairs) - by leave- I move:

That so much of the Standing Orders be suspended as would prevent a definite matter of public importance proposed to the Speaker by the honourable member for Adelaide being submitted to the House for discussion before General Business is called on.

I do so to allow my colleague the Minister for Industry and Commerce (Mr Lynch) to dispel any speculation which might otherwise arise.
