Mr McMAHON (Lowe) (Prime Minister) - Mr Speaker, I wish to inform the House that the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mr N. H. Bowen, left Australia yesterday to attend the meeting of the South Pacific Forum in Suva. He is expected to return to Australia on 15th September. During his absence, the Minister for Primary Industry, Mr Sinclair, is Acting Minister for Foreign Affairs and represents the AttorneyGeneral in this House.

I also regret to say that Senator Sir Kenneth Anderson has not yet recovered from his illness and will be absent for a further period. Dr Forbes will continue to act as Minister for Health.
