Mr WHITLAM (WERRIWA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I ask the Minister for Primary Industry a question. Has the Randall Committee reported on the remaining areas into which it has been inquiring? If so, has Cabinet yet considered the report? If the Government has received the report but has not yet considered it, when does the honourable gentleman expect that Cabinet will consider it? In any case, how soon would he expect to be able to make an announcement on the result of Cabinet's deliberations on the report?

Mr SINCLAIR (NEW ENGLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Primary Industry) - The answer to the first part of the honourable gentleman's question is yes; the answer to the second part of his question is no; and the answer to the third part is 'as soon as possible'. As soon as the Government has made a decision it will be announced publicly, well in advance of the opening of the new wool selling season.
