Mr HUGHES (BEROWRA, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Attorney-General) - I have seen the statement to which the honourable member referred in the first part of his question. In answer to the second part of the question I would say that I am not satisfied, nor is the Government, that the law in its present state so far as it affects areas of Commonwealth responsibility can protect adequately the freedoms to which the honourable member referred. With this in mind legislation to deal with that topic is currently being drafted.
