Dr FORBES (BARKER, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) (Minister for Health) - I have noted this move by the Western Australian Government. It is a good thing to see at least one State government accepting its responsibilities in this field. I should like to see other State governments do the same thing. As the honourable gentleman will be aware, the Government announced in the GovernorGeneral's Speech that it was undertaking a comprehensive review of the problems of those who suffer long illnesses, the chronically ill and others. This review is continuing. The matter referred to by the honourable gentleman is part of that review in a general sense although not specifically as he put it. When the Government has made a decision on this it will make an announcement.
