Mr KING (WIMMERA, VICTORIA) - I direct my question to the Minister for Social Services. As there appear to be strong moves for the abolition of the means test on age and invalid pensions, before such removal1 takes place or even before there is a substantial easing of the means test will the Minister give aa assurance that any easing will not be at the expense of the present pensioner and that in future pensions will be at the highest level which our economy can stand?
