Mr HANSEN (WIDE BAY, QUEENSLAND) - My question to the Minister for Social Services relates to compulsory X-rays for tuberculosis and I acknowledge the success of the campaign. I refer to persons who are not already in receipt of a TB allowance but who, following a compulsory X-ray, are required to attend clinics for further tests. Are they entitled to any compensation for loss of wages during the time they attend for the tests? If not, will the Minister consider the payment of compensation in cases where the person involved is not eligible for wages while attending for tests?
