Mr DALY (GRAYNDLER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I direct a question to the Prime Minister. Has his attention been drawn to an address to the Young Liberals at Newcastle last weekend by the Minister for Social Services deploring the fall in the birthrate and indicating proposals for increased family allowances in the next Budget? If so, will he state whether the Minister was announcing Government decisions on these benefits? Has it been decided to increase all child endowment payments, which in some cases have remained stationary for 20 years, as well as to increase maternity allowances, which have remained unchanged since the date of their introduction in 1943, a period of 25 years?
