Mr TURNBULL (MALLEE, VICTORIA) - Is the Minister for Primary Industry aware that the Australian dried vine fruits industry is now subjected, in its best traditional markets, to competition from highly subsidized fruits? Does the Minister know that the industry must sell approximately 80 per cent, of its product overseas, and that its production costs are subject to our high standard of living economy? Has the industry sought a Government guaranteed stabilization plan? What is the prospect of such a plan being established and operated?
