Mr CAIRNS (YARRA, VICTORIA) - In the absence of the Minister for Supply, I ask the Prime Minister a question about space research at Woomera. Are there indications that the United Kingdom Government will not associate itself with the use of the Blue Streak missile for space research at Woomera unless Australia pays most of the cost? Would it not be a fact that any space research done at Woomera would do no more than duplicate, at considerable cost, more advanced research already being done in the United States of America and the United Kingdom? Will this possibility be taken into account before any costly programme is undertaken?
