Mr MENZIES (KOOYONG, VICTORIA) (Prime Minister) - The question arises from some reference to my Bendigo speech. I am delighted to find that the honorable member for East Sydney is so interested in it. As a matter of fact, the speech was of such kind that if the honorable member had believed what I said in the speech, and had acted on it, the whole of his political life would have been revolutionized. As it happens, the speech was tape-recorded, and I shall have great pleasure in sending the honorable member a copy of the full text of the speech, so that he may add it to his collection of my speeches from which he will be able in future to make misquotations.
