Mr TOWNLEY (DENISON, TASMANIA) (Minister for Defence) - It is quite true that our test pilots, Group-Captain Cuming and Wing-Commander Hodges, went to the United States and to Europe and flew several of the aircraft in which we are interested. They are at present working out the results of their tests. As the honorable member will know, this involves quite a lot of mathematical calculations of aerodynamics and so on. I am hopeful that they will make their report in three or four weeks' time, and then, of course, it will go to the Government for decision.
