Mr STEWART (LANG, NEW SOUTH WALES) - My question is addressed to the Treasurer. Is he aware that many insurance companies engaged in the insuring of television sets against damage and breakdown of parts are charging premiums of at least £11 for the first year, £12 for the second year and £13 for the third year, and that they refuse to extend the cover for breakdown of parts beyond three years from the date that the television set was purchased as new? Will the Treasurer arrange for the Commonwealth Insurance Commissioner to investigate the details of the policies being issued and the premiums being charged to ensure that television owners are not being fleeced?
