Mr ANDERSON (HUME, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I direct a question to the Minister for Labour and National Service. It was reported in an Australian Broadcasting Commission news broadcast last week that Mr. Monk, the president of the Australian Council of Trade Unions, said that his interstate executive had been assured by the federal secretary of the Seamen's Union, Mr. Elliott, that an application to vary the seamen's award would be lodged with the Commonwealth Industrial Registrar early this week. Can the Minister advise the House whether this application has been, lodged?
