Mr ADERMANN (FISHER, QUEENSLAND) (Minister for Primary Industry) - I am not sure when I will receive the report of the Commonwealth Dairy Industry Committee of Inquiry. I do know that the committee is going through the mass of evidence that has been presented to it. No doubt, as soon as it has completed that work, it will submit its report, lt is obvious that there can be no action arising from that report prior to 30th June. For the time being, action will be taken as provided in the present dairy industry stabilization legislation. The Dairy Industry. Investigation Committee is now considering costs in the dairy industry. An itinerary has been arranged under which I will meet the Dairy Industry Investigation Committee when it presents its report and I shall discuss the matter with it. Then, of course, I shall have to make my recommendation to Cabinet. Whether the subsidy will be £13,500;000 or any other amount will be a matter for Cabinet consideration.
