Mr J R Fraser - I ask the Minister for the Interior: Have there recently been any alterations in the Canberra building regulations, or has there been a relaxation in the enforcement of those regulations? Has the result of any such alteration or relaxation been a marked lowering of the standard of homes constructed in Canberra? Is the Government considering replacing the Canberra building regulations with those which operate in Victoria? Will the Minister confer with the Minister for Works to ascertain whether the Department of Works is unable to employ sufficient supervisors to ensure that the standards of building in this city are not lowered?
