Mr WHEELER (MITCHELL, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I direct a question to the Minister for Health. I expect the Minister has noticed that there has been a number of deaths recently in Sydney and its immediate environs as a result of funnel-web spider bites. A degree of hope exists that the Commonwealth medical research authorities may discover an anti-venene for use in cases of spider bite. Can the Minister say whether any progress has been made in this direction?
