Mr GALVIN (KINGSTON, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - I address a question to the Minister for Immigration. I preface it by reminding the Minister that before the recent election Government senators always attended naturalization ceremonies, representing the Minister, when those ceremonies were held in electorates represented in this Parliament by the Opposition. Since the election, however, these senators have been conspicuous by their absence. Does this indicate that the Minister no longer considers it necessary to be represented at naturalization ceremonies, or were the senators present at these ceremonies purely for electioneering purposes?
