Mr HASLUCK (CURTIN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) (Minister for Territories) - Later this morning I shall ask leave of the House to make a statement on the report of the commission of inquiry into the Navuneram incident. If leave is granted the statement will attempt to traverse the contents of the report, and when I have made the statement I shall table the report, which is in eight volumes. It is my intention to move that the report be printed, thereby enabling the Opposition to debate the report if it wishes.

Dr Evatt - What about letting the Opposition see the eight volumes now, so that it can become acquainted with their contents?

Mr HASLUCK - Honorable members would not have time to read the report before it is tabled.
