Mr DAVIDSON - The Australian Broadcasting Commission, under the relevant act, has the authority to conduct such operations as those to which the honorable member has referred. In some cases, it is necessary to refer the matter to the responsible Minister, the Postmaster-General, particularly with regard to the financing of any such project. The A.B.C. has followed that practice properly in this instance. It is true that the A.B.C. has established a journal known as " T.V. News " for the purpose of advertising its television programmes/ This publication is in an experimental stage, and after it has been going for three or four months it is my intention to look at its operations, particularly from the financial point of view, to see whether it should be continued.
