Mr CAIRNS (YARRA, VICTORIA) - I ask the Minister for the Interior whether it is a fact that the Commonwealth Electoral Act makes it an offence to use television in the forthcoming federal election campaign. I refer particularly to section 164b, which makes it an offence, with a penalty of £100, to exhibit any poster larger than 60 square inches, and there is no exception which would apply to television.
