Dr DONALD CAMERON (OXLEY, QUEENSLAND) - The honorable member will appreciate that this is a matter that concerns State governments, and, as I' understand it, not only is it possible for persons to contribute to the kind of eye bank that- the honorable gentleman has mentioned, but they are in fact doing so, and the scheme is operating quite satisfactorily.


Mr Calwell - Can the Government do anything on a federal basis?


Dr DONALD CAMERON (OXLEY, QUEENSLAND) - I do not know that there is any need to do anything on a federal basis, because, as far as 1 know, the present practice is quite satisfactory.
