Mr. ANTHONY.Iaska question of the Minister for Primary Industry. As a preface to my question I point out that the Tweed-Richmond area, which I represent, is the most intensive dairying area of the Commonwealth. There are exactly 4,851 dairyfarms in that area. Will the Minister request the Division of Agricultural Economies to conduct a survey of gross farm income of dairy-farmers in the TweedRichmond area, similar to the survey carried out recentlyin the Clarence and Macleay districts? Such a survey would give a better definition of the complex problemsfacing the industry, so that some constructive approachmay be taken towards their solution. .
