Mr FORBES (BARKER, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - My question is addressed to' the Minister for Labour and National Service in his capacity as Minister acting in charge of the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization. Is the' right honorable gentleman aware that hospital. ' authorities in ' the , United Kingdom recently stated" that' woollen blanket's are more subject fo bacterial infection than are cotton blankets, and that those authori ties advised hospitals, to change to cotton blankets? I understand that, because of the importance of this .claim to the Australian woOl .industry, the C.S.I.R.O. immediately conducted an investigation to determine its accuracy. Can the Minister say what conclusions were reached?
