Mr RUSSELL (GREY, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - I ask the Prime Minister a question without notice. Has the right honorable gentleman's attention been drawn to statements made by respected officials of wool-growers' organizations that, because there is no wool surplus, there is no justification for the decline of wool prices; that there are forces at work detrimental to the industry; that the lack of woollen articles in some big stores is, to say the least, alarming; and that in many cases, synthetic materials are being used in place of wool? Will the Prime Minister have inquiries made with a view to protecting our wool industry?
