Mr LANG (REID, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Has the attention of the Prime Minister been drawn to the report that the Joint Coal Board has agreed to purchase Marx House for £50,000? Does this price represent a profit of £20,000 for the capitalistic Communist party? Did the Australian Government and the Government of New South Wales approve of this proposed expenditure? What was the Valuer-General's valuation, and why was the property not obtained by compulsory resumption instead of by private treaty with the Communist party? Do the Joint Coal Board's activities justify the occupation of a three-storied building in the centre of the city of Sydney?
