Mr DUTHIE (WILMOT, TASMANIA) - In view of the increase in the costs of imported dollar goods that will follow as the result of the devaluation of the Australian currency in relation to dollars, I ask the Prime Minister whether the Government has considered boosting the manufacture of tractors, machine tools and agricultural machinery in this country and also giving special assistance to the timber, tobacco and cotton industries with a view to reducing imports from dollar areas?
