Mr CHIFLEY - I am still not quite clear which part of the question is in order and which part is not. I have not seen any report in the Melbourne Herald about devaluation of sterling, and I am not aware of any meetings having been held in this House to discuss the subject. Indeed, I was informed this morning that the subject had not been discussed at any party meeting called for the purpose. Nothing is to be gained by discussing the matter further. So far as the Government is concerned, there is nothing to add to the reply that I gave to the honorable member for New England last week.
