Mr RANKIN (BENDIGO, VICTORIA) - I desire to ask the Minister for Repatriation a question about reports of inquiries by the Repatriation Department into the morals of war widows. Have any such inquiries been made by security officers or any other persons? If so, on what authority were they made, and what action was taken? Are any other groups of pensioners subject to such inquiries? Is the attitude of the Government in this matter consistent with its policy of granting pensions to de facto wives?
