Mr COLEMAN (Reid) (7:15 AM) .Some time ago, I sought from the Postmaster-General information with reference to the staff investigation committee, which is at present examining the staffing of post offices. The honorable gentleman stated that he would endeavour to obtain the information that I required, but so far it has not been tabled. I should like him to state whether the information is yet available, and also to make a st atement calculated .to allay the dissatisfaction that is felt by postal employees, who regard this investigation as likely to interfere with the classification recently passed by the Public Service Board, and fear that it will result in widespread retrenchment.
