Dr EARLE PAGE (COWPER, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Treasurer) - The Loan Council consists of the Commonwealth Treasurer and the Treasurers of the various States. None of these representatives can veto a proposal.

Dr EARLE PAGE - The Commonwealth has one representative in a body of seven. Under the financial agreement with the States, the Commonwealth has two votes and a casting vote. So far all the decisions of the Loan Council have been unanimous.
