Mr GULLETT (HENTY, VICTORIA) asked the Minister for

Markets, upon notice -

1.   Has his attention been drawn to the fact that certain licensed exporters of butter, operating under the Dairy Export Control Board, after signing declarations that certain butter is being exported to destinations other than London, have sent the butter to London for sale on that market?

2.   Is he aware that this practice is having a prejudicial effect upon the marketing of Australian butter on that market?

3.   Will the Minister inquire as to the facts, and, if found correct, take the necessary action to cancel the export licences of the offending parties or impose such other penalties as the law may provide?
