Mr LATHAM (Kooyong) (AttorneyGeneral) .- The object of this provision is not to bind the court to provide absolutely uniform conditions up to the limit of possibility, but to allow it to consider all the circumstances of the case. I am quite prepared to amend the provision as suggested by the Leader of the Opposition, and with that object I ask leave to withdraw temporarily the amendment which I have moved.

Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
