Mr A GREEN (KALGOORLIE, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - Will the Government, when considering the appointment of a Trade Commissioner for the United States of America keep in mind the solid claims of Mr. D. M. Dow, who has done wonderful work there, carrying the bulk of the responsibilities of the office.

Mr BRUCE - The Government will give the fullest consideration to the claims of every one when it is considering the matter. I suggest, however, that it is not desirable that the claims of individuals should be canvassed in this House.
