Mr BRENNAN (BATMAN, VICTORIA) - I should like to know if the attention of the Minister for Trade and Customs has been drawn to a statement in the press that the latest and, apparently, the most effective cure for pernicious anaemia is a diet of raw or cooked beef liver, and that a duty of 40 per cent, is imposed on a tasteless American substitute which has been invented. Since this duty places this substitute beyond the reach of the poorer people in the community, who would like to avail themselves of it, I ask the

Minister representing the Minister for Trade and Customs if, in the circumstances, he would take into consideration the removal of the duty?
