Mr JOSEPH COOK - Before submitting the referenda proposals at any earlier period, will the Attorney-General ascertain whether it is not a fact that, in every case where the price of goods has been fixed, it has been at a tremendous increase, and not a decrease?

Mr HUGHES - So far as I know, that is not the case; and, as I have a great deal of work in hand, I ask the right honorable gentleman not to' press his request.
