Mr MATHEWS (MELBOURNE PORTS, VICTORIA) - I should like to ask the Assistant Minister of Defence, in view of the enormous percentage of "rejects " amongst the men who have volunteered for the front, whether he will take into consideration the desirability of making it clearer, either through the newspapers or by means of posters, what precisely is required from men anxious to enlist? It cannot be that all these rejections are due to physical defects. Will the Minister do what he can to stop men who have no chance of passing the medical examination coming forward? Mr. JENSEN".- I shall be pleased to comply with the honorable member's request.
