Mr JOSEPH COOK (Parramatta) . - I understand that the Prime Minister wishes to postpone these Orders of the Day in order that he may introduce a Supply Bill which he proposes to carry through the House to-day.

Mr Fisher - Yes.

Mr JOSEPH COOK - I presume that will end the day's work?

Mr Tudor - There is only the Lighthouses Bill - a small measure.

Mr JOSEPH COOK - The honorable member might gather up half-a-dozen more of the kind.

Mr Tudor - The honorable member's colleague, the ex-Minister of Trade and Customs, will tell him it is an urgent measure.

Mr JOSEPH COOK - Be reasonable. The Lighthouses Bill is sure to provoke some little debate.

Mr Tudor - No.

Mr JOSEPH COOK - At all events, there is no overpowering urgency in connexion with it. I understand that the Supply Bill will conclude the day's work.
