Mr SAMPSON (Wimmera) . - I wish to direct the attention of honorable members to a letter which has been sent to the London Times by a former Governor-General of the Commonwealth, in the person of Lord Denman. In writing on the question of national service in Great Britain- .

Mr Wise - What has this to do with the Department of External Affairs?

Mr SAMPSON - It has much to do with it, and involves a matter which certainly ought to be brought under the notice of that Department. Lord Denman states -
