Mr BRENNAN (BATMAN, VICTORIA) - I desire to ask the Prime Minister when I may expect a reply to the representations I made to him some time ago to the effect that the Commissioner for Old-age Pensions sets himself up as a censor of public morals in assessing what he considers to be the claims1 of pensioners. The applications of claimants have been refused on the ground that their past life has not been in conformity with the moral standard set up by the Commissioner for Old-age Pensions.
