Mr JOSEPH COOK (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) -Is the Assistant Minister of Defence aware whether there is any objection to laying on the table of the House the reports of responsible officers made in connexion with the proceedings at Rabaul ? As there is a great deal of mystery surrounding this matter, I do not see why the House should not be placed in full possession of the documents.

Mr JENSEN - Nearly all the papers in connexion with the case are now in Sydney, having been sent there in order that the inquiry there may be completed.
