Mr McDONALD (Kennedy) - There is a matter, relating to the Post and Telegraph Department which I had intended to bring under the notice of honorable members on a motion for the adjournment of the House, but I think it may well be considered on this division. According to a statement published in the daily press, the Government have agreed to construct a telephone line between Geelong and Warrnambool.

Mr Robinson - A very sensible project.

Mr McDONALD - I havenoobjection to the construction of the line, but I certainly object to the way in which it is proposed tocarry out the work.
