Mr JOSEPH COOK (PARRAMATTA, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I do not intend to discuss this question at any length, but I should like to make one or two observations incidentally upon the Tariff and our fiscal relations with the mother country.


Mr SPEAKER - There is on the businesspaper a notice of an amendment to be moved by the honorable member for Hume, which precludes any reference to preferential trade on the motion now before the House.
