Mr HARPER (MERNDA, VICTORIA) asked the Minister of Defence, upon notice -

(1)   Why have the members of. the First Commonwealth Contingent, which returned from South Africa about two years ago, not - yet received their medals, although the members of the Second Commonwealth Contingent have, it is said, received theirs?

(2)   Are the members of the First Commonwealth Contingent to receive extra medals from the Commonwealth Government? If so, when will these be presented?
