Mr WATSON - The answers to the honorable member's questions are as follow : -

1.   None have yet been received.

2.   No; but the General Officer Commanding has not included any Infantry Regiment in the proposed allotment of banners.

3.   No.

4.   This question has been referred to MajorGeneral Sir Edward Hutton, who is at present in Western Australia.

5.   Twenty non-commissioned officers and seventy-five men. They enlisted in various corps, and did not, as a body, represent the Royal Australian- Artillery in Victoria.

It may be stated, however, that it is proposed to allot a banner to the Royal Australian Artillery Regiment, of which the Permanent Artillery in Victoria forms a part, as the Regiment was directly represented at the war by " A " Battery, New South Wales.
