Mr WATSON (BLAND, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Prime Minister) - On the 19th inst., the honorable member for Fremantle asked a question, in reference to a complaint as to the Jack of Customs facilities at Fremantle. I promised that the subject would be inquired into, and I have since received the following telegram from the Collector of Customs in Western Australia : -

1.   The Chamber of Commerce state that no such complaint has been made by them to the Minister or Comptroller-General.

2.   The Chamber of Commerce state that the discussion which took place at the quarterly general meeting of the Chamber on Friday last bore no complaint against the administration of the Department or the Customs facilities at Fremantle.
