Mr HUME COOK (BOURKE, VICTORIA) asked the PostmasterGeneral, upon notice -

1.   Whether fresh tenders are to be called for the supply of telegraph insulators?

2.   Whether, other things being equal or nearly equal, he will be prepared to give a preference to the Australian-made insulator?

3.   If he will also be prepared to give a preference, under similar conditions, to Australianmade insulator fittings?
